Back to normal?

Finally a Fry Lodge weekend mostly uninterrupted by work or travel. On Saturday the Fry Family Quartet took a walk down to Gasworks Park to see soon-to-be brother-in-law, Patrick, be awarded his new bike from New Belgium Brewery at the Tour de Fat for winning their contest that involved signing over the title of his car. Given his celebrity status, Patrick scored lots of free beer tokens – all day long. We left before he accepted his award on stage. He and Katie spent the night at Fry Lodge. We won’t tell New Belgium Brewery or any Tree Hugger Seattlites that we gave Patrick and his new bike a ride home in the minivan this morning.

Speaking of bikes, this morning Henry and I took a great bike ride around the city, stopping in Ballard for a hot dog and raspberries. Things feel back to normal-ish.
