Congratulations to Jessica Kelley for going undefeated to win the Washers for the Cure tournament today. Jess walked away with a brand new washers set, and we raised $500 for Kristine’s Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure endeavor. Thanks to everybody who donated and participated – it was a lot of fun.
With each cruise, the Fry Family Quartet explores a little deeper into Puget Sound. On Sunday, we took Emotional Rescue as far as Dyes Inlet, which we’ve renamed Flies Inlet, for reasons that don’t need to be explained. After some floating, some non-naps and few phone calls, we headed back, gassing up at Brownsville along the way. It was a beautiful day to be on the boat, and we loved the new scenery.
Henry had his first day of preschool at St. John’s Elementary on Friday. He had a lot to report: They read a book about a bear and a fox and strawberries. They had a bathroom break, and he went potty with the teacher and waited in the hallway with his hands on his lap while the other kids went. He had a graham cracker for snack and poured his own water in his cup and carried it to his napkin. No ruler across the knuckles yet.
