Last weekend of summer

We ended summer of 2011 where we started it.  Grandma and Grandpa Fry came up for a short visit on Saturday, so we enjoyed some cedar plank salmon for lunch. Today the Fry Family Quartet decided to go on a long hike. All roads on Lopez Island seem to lead to Spencer Spit, which is where we got lost this afternoon, wandering the lush green woods surrounding the state park. Goodbye summer. Looking forward to Lopez in the fall.
