Lopez Limbo

Our house in Seattle went on the market today. The real estate photos online have caused quite an emotional stir among the Fry Family Quartet and our friends (our friend Karen commented that photos of our laundry room made her pee her pants). Meanwhile, as we prepare for the next phase of our journey, we’re hanging out on Lopez Island. Not a bad place to spend the workday, I must say – Bike rides in the morning, roasted marshmallows in the evening. Kristine and the kids did story time at the library today as I did conference calls. Henry and I took a late afternoon kayak. As I write this, somebody on the island is letting off M-80s. Tomorrow night: the famous Lopez Island Independence Day fireworks. Limbo’s not so bad.
