This IS our first rodeo

Whoa. 300 miles. 5 buffalo. 3 geysers. 2 states. One rodeo.

As we rolled into Cody, Wyoming, Henry started vibrating. We couldn’t get to the cowboy store fast enough to outfit him and his sister with the appropriate attire for their first-ever rodeo – Cody’s Nite Rodeo. It was awesome. We saw bare back bucking bronco riding, calves wrestled to the ground in 10 seconds, and some pretty amazing rope work. Henry’s and Ruby’s minds were blown.

And that was after we’d spent most of the day driving through Yellowstone Park, where the kids saw their first (up close!) buffalo and multiple geysers. All in a day’s work for the Fry Family Quartet. Yeehaw.
