The Frys Do Manhattan

Over the past few weeks we’ve taught the kids to hold their breath as we go through tunnels. The Holland Tunnel turned out to be too much for all of our lungs. We drove into New York City this morning, arriving in the West Village (our new neighborhood) just in time for the street sweepers to free up a parking spot just down the street from our new apartment. Our new landlady, Jane, met us at the door to hand over our keys and show us into our new home, Fry Lodge West Village. We love it. Henry’s room has a fireplace, and Ruby’s room has a mini closet that only she can fit into. The AC units are now installed, and the movers arrive tomorrow to drop off all of our stuff. Hello, NYC!
