After much discussion, the Fry Family Quartet decided the best way to spend a somewhat rainy day in NYC was a trip to Central Park. So, this morning we grabbed our umbrellas and headed to the subway, which we had yet to ride together since arriving in Manhattan last week. We got our money’s worth on the trip uptown, going all the way to 125th Street before turning around to get back to 59th Street (we’d somehow missed the announcement that the train wouldn’t make any stops after 59th). We finally made it to the park, and walked all over, getting lost among its winding wooded paths and ponds. It’s hard to believe that this place is right in the middle of Manhattan. After an afternoon in the park (the sun finally came out), we stopped for refreshments and ice cream at Momofuku, which was awesome. It was a great day.
