Teeth on the sidewalk

Henry lost his second tooth today. We’ve decided that the tooth fairy likes Fry Lodge teeth to be deposited in a martini glass on the mantle, where she leaves $3.00 in exchange for the tooth. When Kristine and I discussed what to do with the tooth after the tooth fairy’s visit, we somehow decided that the best thing to do was to throw it out the window. To get rid of the evidence, I suppose. It’s strange to think that two of our child’s teeth are rolling around the sidewalk four floors below. Do you ever wonder what miniscule things you are stepping on as you walk down the sidewalk?

You threw it out the window?!? Such New Yorkers. Just imagine the poor confused soul who got hit in the face with a tooth on his evening walk.
