We had to renew our car registration today, which meant some inter-island ferry travel to Friday Harbor, the seat of San Juan County (by the way, the largest county in Washington State and the only county without a state highway). I decided to bicycle both ways to the Lopez ferry terminal, meeting Kristine and the kids there before boarding the ferry. I wish I had more to report from Friday Harbor. The most exciting part was probably the 5 minutes we spent in the county courthouse getting our new car tabs. Henry did, however, decide what kind of boat we should get when we’re ready for Emotional Rescue IV, as we perused the boats moored at Friday Harbor. Oh, and we played several games of Go Fish. This was our Tuesday.
