That’s what we call our marshmallow roasting technique at Fry Lodge. Different members of the Fry Family Quartet have added their own personal touches. Henry finds an oven near the coals. Kristine tends to burn the top of her marshmallow, creating what we call “the muffin top.” And Ruby sometimes foregoes roasting all together, choosing instead to eat the marshmallows straight from the bag. Whatever the method, this is one of our favorite Fry Lodge pastimes. Tonight Kristine added a new touch: substituting Nutella for Hersheys chocolate bars to make smores. I highly recommend this.
