The Bus

Living on Lopez Island clearly has had a positive impact on the Fry Family Quartet. Sometimes that impact is felt more acutely. This morning was one of those moments. Kristine and I walked Henry and Ruby to the bus stop for the first time. As we watched them climb up and drive away on that bus it was like they were growing up before our eyes. The kids have more independence here. It’s taking some getting used to, but we think we love it.
