Fry Lodge Beautification

With summer upon us, and in anticipation of hosting several visitors, we’ve been racing against the clock to get Fry Lodge ship shape. Kristine spent last week painting walls and laying carpet in our bedroom, so that I could put my new nail gun to work this weekend installing baseboard trim. The kids got in on the remodel action, too. While at the hardware store yesterday, Henry convinced me that we needed some curb appeal, so we bought some planters and marigolds to go in them. Ruby helped fill nail holes, and both kids put face plates back on once the paint dried. The bedroom remodel is now complete, just in time for the arrival of Jim and Mary Kay this week.
